Fortunately, the Supreme Court of New Jersey has granted a designation called Municipal Court Law Attorney to those who are able to demonstrate sufficient levels of experience, education, skills, and knowledge in their municipal court practice. A New Jersey attorney with this designation must be:

• In good standing of the New Jersey Bar for over 5 years;
• In compliance with continuing legal education requirements;
• Able to demonstrate a substantial level of experience in the practice of municipal court law;
• Favorably evaluated by other attorneys and judges familiar with the quality of his/her work; and
• Able to pass a written examination demonstrating expertise in municipal court law.

ABOUT THE LAWYER

Bobbie operates her firm as a sole practitioner, specializing in DWI/DUI, CRIMINAL DEFENSE, and TRAFFIC for over a decade. She is a former law clerk to the Honorable Isaiah Steinberg, Appellate Division (retired). Bobbie is a lifetime resident of Margate, New Jersey and attended the University of New Hampshire where she graduated cum laude. Thereafter, Bobbie worked in the insurance industry as a Commercial Property and Casualty Producer. She received her J.D. with Honors from Rutgers University School of Law, where she served on the Rutgers Law Journal and as a teaching assistant and academic tutor.

Bobbie is the author of "Dealing a Fair Hand to Atlantic City Property Owners," published in Volume 31 of Rutgers Law Journal.
